Publication design | FAO / World Food Day


Every year the Food and Agriculture Organization holds World Food Day, an event celebrated in more than 150 countries, to raise awareness of the issues behind poverty and hunger. My role was to create the visual identity and design supporting materials.

Deliverables included: an issues paper in 8 languages explaining the theme of the 2013 event; posters in 10 languages, and ‘mega’ banners for the side of the FAO HQ building in Rome. Other materials included Twitter and Facebook images, web banners, and supporting material for the actual day of the event, including a printed programme for the main ceremony, and the design of the welcome screens in the FAO HQ, also in multiple languages.
